Cajun Jambalaya

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - Rice
  2. 1/2 pounds - Shrimp
  3. 1 whole - Onion Diced
  4. 1/2 cloves - Garlic
  5. 1 cans - Tomato sauce
  6. 1/2 pounds - Ham
  7. 1/2 pounds - Smoked sausage
  8. 1 ounces - N'awlins Jambalaya Spices
  9. 1 tablespoons - Cayenne pepper

Directions:

1. Fry ham, smoke sausage and place in a large pot.
2. Fry onions; add garlic. When onions are lightly brown, add tomato sauce and spices. Fry for approximately 20 min. Add meat. Add 2 C water for every cup of rice, but include amount of tomato sauce. Let simmer for approximately 1/2 hour. Add shrimp.
3. When all liquid is absorbed, lower heat and cover pot. Let it simmer until rice is tender.
