Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 boxes - Linguine
- 2 - Chicken breasts Cut into strips
- 1 - Green bell pepper Sliced
- 1/2 - Red bell pepper Sliced
- 1 cartons - Sliced mushrooms
- 1 1/2 cups - Heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons - Cajun seasoning Adjust according to how spicy you want it!
- 2 teaspoons - Butter
- 1/4 teaspoons - Basil
- 1/4 teaspoons - Lemon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoons - Garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons - Parmesan Cheese
- - Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Cook pasta and drain
2. Dip chicken into cajun seasoning (don't fully coat each piece, otherwise it will be really spicy.)
3. In large skillet over medium heat sautee bell peppers until soft, then add and cook chicken until cooked through, then add mushrooms and cook until softened
4. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream. Season sauce with basil, lemon pepper, salt, pepper and garlic powder and heat through.
5. In large bowl, toss linguine with sauce and chicken mixture and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
(I add gravy flour to the mixture because I like to thicken it up a little bit)
