Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups - all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 3/4 cups - sour cream
- 1/2 cups - butter softened
- 3/4 teaspoons - baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoons - baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1/2 teaspoons - grated orange peel
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cups - granola
- 1/2 cups - Nestle Butterscotch flavored morsels
- 1/2 cups - chopped nuts
- 1/2 teaspoons - cinnamon
- 1/3 cups - Nestle Butterscotch flavored morsels
- 1 tablespoons - butter
- 2 teaspoons - half and half
- 2 tablespoons - finely chopped nuts for topping, optional
Directions:
For Filling: Combine filling ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
For Cake:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix flour, sugar, sour cream, butter, baking soda, baking powder, salt, orange peel and eggs thoroughly; stir in granola.
Spread half of batter in greased 9-inch square pan; sprinkle with Butterscotch filling. Top with remaining batter.
Bake until crust is golden brown, about 30 minutes; cool completely.
For Glaze:
Heat butterscotch morsels, butter and half-and-half over medium heat and stir until smooth.
Drizzle cake with glaze; sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
