Ingredients:
- 4 cups - Flour
- 1/4 cups - Granulated Sugar
- 1 cups - Butter
- 1 packages - Active Dry Yeast
- 1/4 cups - Warm Water
- 1 cups - Milk Warmed
- 3 - Egg Yolks well beaten
- 1 cups - Nuts Chopped
- 3 tablespoons - Butter melted
- 3 tablespoons - Sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons - Cinnamon mix into sugar above
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl stir together Flour and Sugar. With a pastry blender, cut in Butter. Dissolve Yeast in Water. Lightly stir Yeast into Flour mixture, adding Milk and Egg Yolks until blended.
Cover tightly with foil. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
Divide dough into 4 equal pieces.
Roll 1 of the pieces into a 10" circle. Brush lightly with melted Butter. Sprinkle with Sugar/Cinnamon mix and Nuts.
Cut into 12 pie shaped pieces. Beginning at the wide end roll up and seal points firmly.
Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Repeat procedure for other 3 pieces.
Cover, let rise until about, about 1 hour. Bake in preheated oven 400F 10 -12 minutes.
Cool and drizzle with a confectioners sugar icing.
