Bruschetta with Feta and Tomatoes

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cups - butter or margarine melted
  2. 1/4 cups - olive oil
  3. 10 slices - French bread sliced 1 inch thick
  4. 2 ounces - crumbled Basil and Tomato Feta cheese
  5. 1 pinchs - garlic powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - dried basil
  7. 8 - cherry or grape tomatoes diced into small pieces

Directions:

In a small bowl combine the butter or margarine and oil, and brush evenly onto both sides of slices of bread. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted.

Combine the feta, garlic powder and basil, and sprinkle carefully over the toasted bread slices. Top off with diced tomatoes.

Bake 4-5 minutes longer or until heated through. Serve warm (garnished with fresh basil, if desired).
