Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 6 slices - cooked bacon crumbles
- 3 cups - broccoli florets
- 2 cups - seedless red grapes
- 1/3 cups - chopped red onion
- 1 cups - mayonnaise (regular or low-fat)
- 8 ounces - farfalle pasta
- 1/4 cups - red wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1/4 cups - sugar
- 1/2 cups - pecans
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place pecans on baking sheet and toast for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring half way through.
Prepare pasta according to package directions, cooking to al dente. Drain pasta and place in a bowl.
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, red wine vinegar, red onion, and salt. Whisk well.
Add broccoli and grapes to the large bowl with the pasta. Gradually add mayonnaise mixture into large bowl until desired amount. Cover and chill for 3 hours.
Add bacon and pecans to salad just before serving.
PS You can use low-fat mayonnaise and it still tastes delicious.
