Bonefish House Salad and Citrus Herb Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

  1. - romaine lettuce
  2. - cherry tomatoes cut in halves
  3. - heart of palm chopped
  4. - kalamata olives
  5. - sunflower seeds
  6. - toasted pine nuts
  7. 2/3 cups - extra virgin olive oil
  8. 1/4 cups - sugar could use Splenda
  9. 3 tablespoons - water or a bit more, to taste
  10. 2 tablespoons - white wine vinegar
  11. 4 teaspoons - minced garlic
  12. 1 tablespoons - Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
  13. 2 teaspoons - lime juice
  14. 2 teaspoons - lemon juice
  15. 2 teaspoons - fresh parsley minced
  16. 1/2 teaspoons - dried basil
  17. 1/4 teaspoons - dried oregano
  18. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  19. 1/8 teaspoons - fresh ground black pepper

Directions:

For Vinaigrette:
Whisk all dressing ingredients together in a bowl. Microwave for one minute. Whisk for one minute. Cover and chill for one hour before serving.

Combine all salad ingredients and serve with chilled vinaigrette dressing.
