Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/4 cups - cake flour
  2. 3/4 cups - all-purpose flour
  3. 3 teaspoons - baking powder
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  6. 1 sticks - butter diced
  7. 3/4 cups - buttermilk (can make this with 2 Tbsp vinegar plus enough milk to make 3/4 cup)

Directions:

Combine dry ingredients.

Dice up the butter and cut it into the flour with pastry blender or fork.

Pour in buttermilk and stir.
Spread into 14-x-8-inch shape; fold triples.

Let rise 15 minutes.

Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes.
