Ingredients:
- 1 pounds - Tilapia or other Whitefish fillets
- - Oil For frying
- 8 whole - 8-12 Corn tortillas
- 1 bags - Angel Hair Coleslaw
- 1/2 cups - Cream Mexicana (sour cream)
- 1/2 cups - Mayonnaise (real mayo)
- 2 teaspoons - Capers Minced
- 2 teaspoons - Fajita or Mexican-style seasoning
- 2 teaspoons - 2-3 tsp Fresh lime juice As desired
- 1 whole - Egg For batter
- 1 cups - Beer
- 1 cups - Self-rising flour
Directions:
1. Wash fish and pat dry. Season w/ salt. Place oil in lrg. skillet to a depth of about 1-in or a deep fryer. Heat oil to 360 (drop a pinch of flour in hot oil; it should sizzle when hot).
2. For batter, combine egg, beer and flour inmed. bowl until just blended. Dp fish quickly in batter and place carefully in hot oil; cook 2-3 min pre side or until golden brown. Drain fish on paper towels.
3. Combine crema, may, capers, seasoning and lime juice, to taste.
4. Heat tortillas briefly in lrg. skillet. Cut fillets in half lengthwise. Place in tortillas; top w/ coleslaw an a spoonful of sauce mixture to serve.
