I think it's better if you add in more asain vegetables, such as snap peas, carrots, water chestnut, and baby corn.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds - boneless beef chuck roast
- 1 1/2 cups - beef consomme or beef broth
- 3/4 cups - low sodium soy sauce
- 5/8 cups - dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons - sesame oil
- 4 cloves - garlic
- 3 tablespoons - cornstarch
- 6 tablespoons - sauce, from crockpot after dish is cooked
- - frozen broccoli florets about 2 cups
- - brown rice cooked, for serving with
Directions:
In the insert of the crockpot, whisk together beef consume, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, sesame oil, and garlic.
Gently place your slices of beef in the liquid and toss to coat.
Turn crockpot on low and cook for 6 hours.
When done, in a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and a little of the cooking liquid to create a slurry, pour back into crockpot, and stir to mix well. Toss in your broccoli florets and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes to thicken up the sauce. Serve hot over brown rice.
