Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoons - Cracked Black Peppercorns
- 1 teaspoons - Salt
- 1/4 cups - Red Wine
- 6 tablespoons - Dijon Mustard
- 2 tablespoons - Soy Sauce
- 3/4 teaspoons - Chopped Fresh Thyme Can sub 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 2 tablespoons - Minced Garlic
- 1/2 cups - Canola Oil actually 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
- 1 pounds - Hanger Steak trim and slice across grain into 1/4-in thick strips
- 1 pinchs - Ground Black Pepper
- 20 pieces - 6 - 8 in. bamboo skewers soak in water for 30 minutes
Directions:
1. Stir peppercorns in a small skillet over medium-high heat 2 - 4 minutes until fragrant and smoking; transfer to a large glass bowl. Add salt, red wine, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, thyme, and garlic. Whisk oil gradually into mixture until smooth.
2. Toss beef in oil misture to coat. Cover and chill 4 hours.
3. Thread beef strips onto skewers, leaving 1 - 2 inches of skewer open at one end. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Preheat grill to medium-high. Cook beef to medium doneness, about 2 - 3 minutes per side.
