Ingredients:
- 2 pounds - boneless chuck roast cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 pounds - carrots peeled and chopped
- 2 - celery ribs chopped
- 1 - onion diced
- 2 teaspoons - dried thyme
- 1 teaspoons - dried rosemary
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
- 1/2 cups - pearled barley
- 8 cups - beef broth
Directions:
Add all ingredients, except beef broth to a gallon baggie and freeze. On day of cooking, add beef broth and ingredients to crockpot and cook on low 8 hours. Remove bay leaf.
