Beef Barley Stew

Ingredients:

  1. 2 pounds - boneless chuck roast cut into bite-sized pieces
  2. 1/2 pounds - carrots peeled and chopped
  3. 2 - celery ribs chopped
  4. 1 - onion diced
  5. 2 teaspoons - dried thyme
  6. 1 teaspoons - dried rosemary
  7. 1 - bay leaf
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  9. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  10. 1/2 cups - pearled barley
  11. 8 cups - beef broth

Directions:

Add all ingredients, except beef broth to a gallon baggie and freeze. On day of cooking, add beef broth and ingredients to crockpot and cook on low 8 hours. Remove bay leaf.
