Banana Nut Salad

Ingredients:

  1. 1 packages - 3 oz. Jello strawberry, raspberry or cherry flavor
  2. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  3. 1 cups - boiling water
  4. 3/4 cups - cold water
  5. 1 tablespoons - lemon juice
  6. 1 - medium banana sliced
  7. 1/4 cups - chopped celery
  8. 1/4 cups - chopped nuts

Directions:

Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and lemon juice; chill until thickened.

Fold in banana slices, celery and nuts.

Pour into 3- or 4-cup mold or individual molds; chill until firm.

Unmold. Serve with crisp lettuce and mayonnaise, if desired.

Makes 5 cups / 10 servings.
