Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - cooking oil
  2. 1 cups - sugar
  3. 2 - eggs beaten
  4. 3 - ripe bananas mashed
  5. 2 cups - all-purpose flour
  6. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  9. 3 tablespoons - milk
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  11. 1/2 cups - chopped nuts

Directions:

Beat oil and sugar together. Add eggs and banana pulp and beat well.

Add sifted dry ingredients, milk, and vanilla. Mix well and stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3 inches).

Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour. Cool well and store overnight before cutting.

You can also make muffins. The recipe makes about 12 muffins, and they need to bake at 350 F for about 20 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean!!!
