Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  1. 3 - ripe bananas mashed
  2. 1 cups - sugar
  3. 1/2 cups - butter room temperature
  4. 2 - eggs
  5. 2 cups - flour
  6. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  8. 1/2 cups - walnuts optional
  9. 1/3 cups - light brown sugar packed
  10. 2 tablespoons - all purpose flour
  11. 1/8 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
  12. 1 tablespoons - cold butter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°.

Mash bananas and set aside. In a large bowl cream sugar and butter together. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas. In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to first mixture and stir together. Stir in nuts. Place two greased, 9x5-inch loaf pans and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 275° and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
