Balsamic Beef Stew

Ingredients:

  1. 3 tablespoons - flour
  2. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  4. 2 pounds - beef chuck cubed
  5. 3 tablespoons - canola oil
  6. 1 pounds - potatoes cubed
  7. 2 tablespoons - Balsamic vinegar
  8. 1 - red onion sliced
  9. 2 - bay leaves
  10. 1 cups - red wine
  11. 2 cups - beef broth
  12. 3 - large carrots peeled and cut
  13. 3 tablespoons - flour
  14. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  15. 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  16. 2 pounds - beef chuck cubed
  17. 3 tablespoons - canola oil
  18. 1 pounds - potatoes cubed
  19. 2 tablespoons - Balsamic vinegar
  20. 1 - red onion sliced
  21. 2 - bay leaves
  22. 1 cups - red wine
  23. 2 cups - beef broth
  24. 3 - large carrots peeled and cut

Directions:

In plastic bag, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Add beef, seal bag, and shake to coat beef. Brown beef in frying pan over medium-high heat, cooking in oil. Transfer meat to plate.

Add onions to pan and saute until golden. Stir in bay leaves, wine, and broth. Return meat and bring to simmer. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
