    This is a personal favorite of the men in my church family. When we gather together as a small group to have an appetizer dinner, this is ALWAYS on the list.

  1. 1 packages - sliced bacon thawed
  2. 1 boxes - thin, crunchy bread sticks from deli or 2 boxes, as needed
  3. - fresh grated Parmesan cheese to taste
  4. - asparagus spears optional substitute for bread sticks


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Stack bacon strips on top of each other and cut in half at center (on the short edge). Wrap the bacon around and down the breadstick covering as much of the breadstick as possible.

Place wrapped breadsticks on a shallow baking sheet with edges; sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in oven on center rack for 15-20 minutes until bacon is fully cooked.

(*Darker pans may need a lower temp or adjusted baking time. Do not broil).
