Bacon Cheeseburger Chili

Ingredients:

  1. 8 slices - Applewood smoked bacon Cut into 1/2-in. dice
  2. 2 pounds - Ground beef
  3. 1 whole - Medium onion Chopped
  4. 1 cans - Petite diced tomatoes & juice
  5. 1 jars - Cookwell & Co. Texas Two-Step Chili Mix
  6. 1 pounds - Easy melt cheese Cut into 1/2-in. dice

Directions:

1. Cook bacon in a 4-qt. soup pot over medium-high heat. When the bacon is crisp, remove with a slotted spoon.
2. Add the ground beef and cook until no traces of pink remain. Add the onion and cook until wilted and transparent. Drain off fat.
3. Add the tomatoes and the juice and the Two-Step Chili. Cook for 15 min., stirring occasionally.
4. Add the Easy Melt cheese; stir to melt the cheese; heat through.
5. Serve as is or with buttered bread.
