Au Poivre Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons - butter
  2. 1/4 cups - shallots
  3. 1/2 cups - brandy
  4. 2 - beef bouillon cubes or 1 tsp BV sauce
  5. 2 tablespoons - green peppercorns
  6. 1/2 cups - whipping cream
  7. 1/4 cups - red wine

Directions:

Saute shallots in butter; add brandy and simmer.

Add bouillon or BV, peppercorns, whipping cream and red wine, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thickened.
