Asparagus au Gratin

Ingredients:

  1. 2 packages - frozen asparagus (or fresh)
  2. 2 cups - rich white sauce
  3. 1 1/2 cups - grated sharp cheese
  4. - basil to taste
  5. 6 - hard boiled eggs sliced
  6. - seasoned bread crumbs for topping

Directions:

Cook asparagus in lightly salted water for 10 minutes. Drain and place in buttered baking dish.

Add cheese to white sauce, heat and add basil.

Place sliced eggs over asparagus and pour sauce over all. Cover with bread crumbs, and dot with butter.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes (or until brown and heated through).
