Applesauce with Cinnamon

Ingredients:

  1. 12 - large apples - Granny Smith or Golden Delicious cooking apples
  2. 3/4 cups - sugar or brown sugar
  3. 1 cups - apple juice
  4. 1 tablespoons - cinnamon
  5. 2 tablespoons - lemon juice

Directions:

Peel, core, and quarter the apples.

Place all the ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil; simmer for 30 minutes. Mash with a potato masher and serve. Or puree it in the blender if you want a smoother texture.
