Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - Sugar
  2. 1/4 cups - Butter
  3. 1 - Egg
  4. 1 cups - Milk
  5. 2 cups - Flour
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  7. 2 teaspoons - Baking Powder
  8. 1 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - Allspice
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - Nutmeg optional
  11. 1 1/2 cups - Apples peeled, chopped
  12. 1/4 cups - Brown Sugar
  13. 1 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  14. 1/2 cups - Sugar
  15. 1/4 cups - Butter
  16. 1 - Egg
  17. 1 cups - Milk
  18. 2 cups - Flour
  19. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  20. 2 teaspoons - Baking Powder
  21. 1 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  22. 1/2 teaspoons - Allspice
  23. 1/2 teaspoons - Nutmeg optional
  24. 1 1/2 cups - Apples peeled, chopped
  25. 1/4 cups - Brown Sugar
  26. 1 teaspoons - Cinnamon

Directions:

Cream together sugar and butter. Add egg and beat well. Stir in milk. In another bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and spices. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and blend until just moistened. Batter will be lumpy. Add apples to batter and blend carefully. Fill well-greased muffin tin. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Makes 1 dozen muffins.
