This is my Aunt Sharon\\\'s recipe. It\\\'s an apple cake with a caramel type topping baked into the cake. It\\\'s delicious served with Cool Whip.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups - sugar
- 1 cups - oil
- 3 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons - vanilla
- 3 cups - flour
- teaspoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- teaspoons - cinnamon
- 2 cups - raw apples chopped
- 1 cups - brown sugar
- 1/4 cups - milk
- 1 sticks - butter
Directions:
Mix ingredients by hand in order given.
Pour into 13x9 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine topping ingredients. Boil 4 minutes.
Pour over baked cake and return to oven for a few minutes.
