Number of Servings:

Ingredients:

  1. 5 cups - flour
  2. 3 cups - milk
  3. 4 cups - sugar
  4. 2/3 cups - oil
  5. 3 - eggs
  6. 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  7. 1 teaspoons - cinnamon
  8. 1 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - salt

Directions:

In a non-reactive container, using a wooden spoon, combine 1 cup each of flour, milk, and sugar. Cover the container and let sit (do not refrigerate), stirring once each day (always with a wooden spoon). On Day 5, add another cup each of flour, milk, and sugar. Continue to stir once a day with a wooden spoon. On Day 10, add another cup each of flour, milk, and sugar and divide batter into 4 equal (approximately 1-1/4 cup each) portions.
Save a portion to begin again, if desired. The rest of the directions deal with only one of the 1-1/4 cup portions. Give away the remaining portions or make multiple recipes of the bread.
Grease and sugar two loaf pans or two dozen muffin cups.
Add the remaining ingredients to the portion of batter, mixing thoroughly. Pour into prepared pans and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-55 minutes.
