Almond Shortbread

Ingredients:

  1. 2 1/2 cups - all purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cups - almonds ground
  3. 1 teaspoons - salt
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  5. 1 cups - unsalted butter
  6. 1/4 cups - granular sugar
  7. 1 - egg yolk
  8. 2 tablespoons - water or milk
  9. 1 1/2 teaspoons - almond extract
  10. 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  11. 2 1/2 cups - all purpose flour
  12. 1/2 cups - almonds ground
  13. 1 teaspoons - salt
  14. 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  15. 1 cups - unsalted butter
  16. 1/4 cups - granular sugar
  17. 1 - egg yolk
  18. 2 tablespoons - water or milk
  19. 1 1/2 teaspoons - almond extract
  20. 1 teaspoons - vanilla

Directions:

1. Crumbly dough! Gently knead into 4 balls. Flatten and chill for 4 days or 1 hour.
2. Bake at 350° for 6-8 minutes and rotate baking sheet.
3. Cool 2 minutes on rack. Dust with icing sugar.
