Almond Crescents

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - butter (2 sticks)
  2. 2/3 cups - powdered sugar plus more for rolling
  3. 1 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - pure almond extract
  5. 1 cups - almonds chopped
  6. 2 1/3 cups - all-purpose flour

Directions:

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in extracts, then add almonds; stir in flour until well mixed.

Using cookie scoop, scoop dough out and then roll into 2-inch long cylinders. Place cylinders 1 to 2 inches apart on baking sheets and form into crescent shape. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Roll cookies in powdered sugar while still warm, then re-roll after they have cooled.
