Almond Coffee Walnuts

Ingredients:

  1. 6 ounces - almond paste
  2. 2 tablespoons - coffee liqueur
  3. 1 teaspoons - instant coffee powder
  4. 72 - walnut halves
  5. 8 ounces - semi-sweet chocolate

Directions:

Mix almond paste, coffee liqueur and coffee powder until smooth.

Spread 1/2 teaspoons of mixture on one walnut half and top with another walnut half (sandwich style).

Melt chocolate in double boiler; dip walnut "sandwiches" in chocolate and place on waxed paper.

Refrigerate; will keep for 1 week.
