Ingredients:

  1. 1 3/4 cups - all-purpose flour
  2. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  3. 1 teaspoons - sea salt
  4. 1 cups - unsalted butter, softened
  5. 1 cups - brown sugar
  6. 1/2 cups - granulated sugar
  7. 1 - large egg
  8. 1 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  9. 3/4 cups - unsalted creamy almond butter (not raw)
  10. 1 cups - semisweet or dark chocolate chips

Directions:

Whisk the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl; set aside.

Cream the butter and sugars in the bowl of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix well. Mix in the almond butter until smooth.

Add the flour and mix to combine, then stir in the chocolate.

Refrigerate the batter for at least one hour. (Batter may be refrigerated for up to 24 hours – if you can wait that long).

Heat oven to 350 F. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on baking sheets lined with parchment. Bake until light golden, about 12-14 minutes.
