Ingredients:
- 3 cups - 100% All Bran cereal
- 1/2 cups - shortening heaping
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 2 whole - eggs well beaten
- 2 cups - buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups - flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 3 cups - 100% All Bran cereal
- 1/2 cups - shortening heaping
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 2 whole - eggs well beaten
- 2 cups - buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups - flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1 teaspoons - salt
Directions:
-Pour one cup boiling water over 1 cup of the Bran cereal and set aside to cool.
-Cream together the shortening and sugar.
-Add beaten eggs and buttermilk; stir to combine.
-Add scalded bran along with flour, baking soda, salt and the remaining 2 cups of dry All Bran cereal
-Pour mixture into muffin tins
-Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees
