Alice's Chili

Ingredients:

  1. 3 pounds - chili meat
  2. 2 - medium onions finely chopped
  3. 1 1/2 tablespoons - minced garlic
  4. 9 tablespoons - Wesson Oil
  5. 1 cans - tomato sauce 15 oz
  6. 1/2 cups - Fancy light chili powder
  7. 1 cans - beef broth 14 1/2 oz
  8. 1 tablespoons - New Mexico mild chili powder
  9. 1 tablespoons - Adams chili power
  10. 1 tablespoons - cumin
  11. 1 tablespoons - salt
  12. 1 tablespoons - vinegar
  13. 1 teaspoons - oregano
  14. 1 teaspoons - black pepper
  15. 1/4 teaspoons - crushed red pepper
  16. 1/8 teaspoons - cayenne pepper

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine meat, onions and garlic.
In a large pot brown 1/3 meat mixture in 3 tablespoons of oil. Remove and set aside.
Repeat with remaining meat mixture.
Leave last batch in chili pot. Add first meat mixture. Then add all remaining ingredients. Mix until well blended. Simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours stirring occassionally.
