Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - butter melted
  2. 8 ounces - cream cheese softened
  3. 2 teaspoons - garlic powder
  4. 2 cups - milk
  5. 6 ounces - parmesan cheese
  6. 1/8 teaspoons - cracked black pepper
  7. - parsley optional
  8. - additional garlic optional

Directions:

In heavy saucepan, melt butter. Add softened cream cheese and whisk until smooth...over medium low heat. Whisk in garlic powder. Whisk in milk, a little at a time. Stir in parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when desired consistency is achieved. Toss with hot pasta. I used a 12 ounce package of fettucine.
