5 Minute Candied Walnuts

  1. 1 cups - whole walnuts (without shells)
  2. 1 tablespoons - unsalted butter
  3. 1/4 cups - white sugar
  4. 1 teaspoons - water


Prep baking sheet with waxed paper and place it right near your stove along with some tongs and/or a spatula.

In a non-stick skillet add your sugar, butter and walnuts. Over medium heat, stir constantly, until your ingredients begin to melt and blend together.

Right when you start seeing the caramel brown, add in your teaspoon of water.

Nuts will be deep golden brown and sticky – Immediately transfer them to the baking sheet and separate them from sticking together.

Allow nuts to cool for 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
