Ingredients:
- 6 - pork chops
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1/2 cups - catsup
- 2 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoons - cornstarch
- 1/3 cups - water
- 2 tablespoons - salad oil
- 1/2 cups - maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons - lemon juice
- 1 - tart apple cored and cut into 6 slices
Directions:
Brown pork chops in salad oil; season with salt. Drain off oil.
Combine syrup, catsup, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Reserve 1/2 cup of mixture. Pour remaining mixture over the chops. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 25 minutes.
Place an apple slice on each chop; top with remaining 1/2 cup sauce mixture. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes longer.
Remove chops to a hot plate. Blend cornstarch with water. Stir into sauce in skillet. Cook stirring until sauce comes to a boil and thickens. Serve over pork chops.
