Ingredients:
- 1/3 cups - all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons - all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoons - pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1/4 teaspoons - paprika
- 4 - boneless venison loin steaks about 3/4 in thick
- 3 tablespoons - butter
- 1 3/4 cups - milk or cream
Directions:
Combine 1/3 c flour, pepper, salt, and paprika in a shallow pan. Dredge steaks in mixture. Melt butter over low heat in a nonstick skillet. Add steaks and cook until browned and to desired doneness, turning steaks over once. Remove from skillet and keep warm. Combine the remaining 3 tbsp of flour and the milk in a small bowl. Whisk this mixture into the skillet drippings. Cook over low/med heat for 3 mins or until gravy bubbles. Stir constantly! Cook for 1 additional min, continuing to stir. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve gravy over steaks.
