Ingredients:
- 1 pounds - lean ground beef
- 1 - onion finely chopped
- 1 - small can green chiles chopped
- 1/2 teaspoons - onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoons - garlic powder
- 1 tablespoons - minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoons - cumin
- 1/4 teaspoons - ground corriander
- 1/4 teaspoons - mexican oregano
- 1/4 teaspoons - chipotle chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoons - cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons - water hot from tap
- 1 teaspoons - beef soup base
Directions:
Brown ground beef, seasonings, minced garlic and onions on medium high heat, breaking up as fine as possible. Do not over stir to allow good browning. When pan starts to accumulate brown crispies in the bottom of the pan, add green chiles. Mix warm water and beef base until disolved. Deglaze pan with water and sprinkle corn starch on top. turn burner to simmer. Stir in corn starch and simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors and thicken. Add salt to taste.
