Super Chunky Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - butter softened
  2. 1/2 cups - butter-flavored shortening
  3. 1 cups - packed brown sugar
  4. 3/4 cups - sugar
  5. 2 - eggs
  6. 2 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  7. 2 1/2 cups - all-purpose flour
  8. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  9. 1/8 teaspoons - salt
  10. 1 cups - miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  11. 1 cups - vanilla or white chips
  12. 1 cups - milk chocolate chips
  13. 4 squares - bittersweet chocolate coarsely chopped
  14. 3/4 cups - English toffee bits or almond brickle chips
  15. 1/2 cups - chopped pecans

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the remaining ingredients.

Drop by tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 2-3 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
