Ingredients:
- 3 cups - peeled carrot pieces or baby carrots
- 3 teaspoons - butter
- - sea salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoons - freshly grated ginger OR half that amount of ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoons - freshly grated turmeric OR half that amount of ground turmeric
Directions:
Lightly steam carrots in a steamer basket until they are just tender-crisp.
Add butter, salt, and seasonings and toss 'til combined. Either mash the carrots lightly or serve them whole for a healthy side dish.
