Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 pounds - boneless top sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick trimmed of fat
- 1/2 cups - water
- 1/2 cups - apple cider
- 1/4 cups - Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cups - balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons - crushed red pepper
- 1/4 cups - honey
Directions:
1. Place steak in a Ziploc plastic bag; add water, apple cider, Worcestershire, vinegar and red pepper. Seal bag and marinate for 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
2. Heat large skillet (coated in nonstick cooking spray) over medium-high heat. Remove steak from bag, reserving marinade; season with salt and black pepper. Cook 12-15 minutes, turning over once, or until desired doneness. Remove, and keep warm.
3. For glaze (while steak is cooking), add marinade and honey to a skillet; whisk to combine. Bring to boiling, and allow to boil gently, uncovered, for about 7 minutes or until reduced to 1/3 cup. Serve glaze with sliced steak.
