Ingredients:
- 6 1/2 tablespoons - butter divided
- 4 1/2 tablespoons - flour
- 3/4 cups - milk
- 3/4 cups - heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- - pepper to taste
- 1 cans - 20 oz. artichoke hearts drained
- 1 pounds - cooked and cleaned shrimp
- 1 1/4 cups - sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cups - sherry
- 1 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cups - grated Parmesan cheese
- - paprika
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, melt 4-1/2 tablespoons of butter; with whisk, stir in flour. Add milk and cream and stir over heat until thickened.
Add salt and pepper, sherry, and Worcestershire sauce; set aside.
Meanwhile, in a small skillet saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter.
In a greased baking dish, arrange artichoke hearts and shrimp. Spoon mushrooms over artichoke hearts and shrimp. Pour sauce over all.
Sprinkle with Parmesan and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
