Ingredients:
- 6 whole - Pork Chops 1/2 inch thick, boneless
- 1 tablespoons - Butter melted in pan
- 5 - Potatoes thinly sliced
- 6 slices - American Cheese 1 oz.
- 1 teaspoons - Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons - Ground black pepper
- 1/2 cups - Chopped Green Onions
- 1 cans - Condensed Cream of Celery Soup
- 1 1/4 cups - Milk
Directions:
Brown pork chops on one side in a hot buttered skillet. Remove chops as they brown; reserve drippings.
Place half of potatoes in a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Top with slices of cheese and then the remaining potatoes. Place Pork chops, browned side up, on the potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook onions in pan drippings in skillet until tender, but do not brown. Add soup and milk. Heat, then pour over pork chops. Cover with tin foil.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hr. Remove cover and continue baking 30 mins or until meat and potatoes are tender.
