Directions:

Grind -
2 tsps whole black pepper
2 teaspoons jeera
2 small tomatoes
About 8 whole dried red chillis
2-3 cloves of garlic(can skip this if you don't like garlic)
A small ball of fresh tamarind( can replace with about a teaspoon of tamarind paste)
1 teaspoon of brown sugar(jaggery)
8-9 curry leaves
A fistful of cilantro

Add the ground mixture to a large vessel, a pinch of turmeric, salt to taste and about 2 litres of water and boil for 15 mins.

Add to it,seasoning in hot oil - mustard seeds, jeera seeds, hing
