Ingredients:
- 1 - 8-inch deep dish pie shell
- 4 slices - crisp bacon chopped
- 1 - onion thin sliced
- 8 slices - ham cut into thin strips
- 1/2 pounds - to 3/4 lb. grated Swiss cheese
- 3 - eggs
- 1/4 teaspoons - dry mustard
- 1 cups - light cream
- - nutmeg for sprinkling on top
Directions:
Bake the pie shell at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.
Cook bacon until crisp; remove. Add onion and saute. Spread over bottom of pie crust.
Add ham and top with cheese.
Beat eggs, mustard and cream together; pour over all. Sprinkle with a tiny bit of nutmeg.
Bake at 350 degrees F until custard is set (about 30 minutes).
