Pork Chops Normandy

Ingredients:

  1. 4 tablespoons - teriyaki sauce divided
  2. 1 teaspoons - grated fresh orange peel
  3. 1/4 teaspoons - ground ginger
  4. 1/8 teaspoons - black pepper
  5. 4 - boneless pork loin chops
  6. 2 teaspoons - vegetable oil
  7. 1/2 cups - apple juice
  8. 4 - apple slices (Rhome) 1-inch thick
  9. 1/2 cups - heavy cream

Directions:

Mix half of teriyaki sauce with orange peel, ginger and pepper. Brush on both sides of pork chops. Let stand for 30 minutes.

Brown chops in hot oil; drain fat. Add rest of teriyaki sauce to apple juice and pour into pan. Place slice of apple on each pork chop.

Cover and cook 30 to 40 minutes over low heat. Remove to platter.

Stir cream into pan drippings. Heat and serve over chops.
