Pork Chops

  1. - pork chops
  2. - salt and pepper to taste
  3. - oil
  4. 1/2 cups - water
  5. - italian style bread crumbs to coat


Season pork chops with salt and pepper (going easy on the salt since pork is salty). Bread with bread crumbs.

Brown the chops in a small amount of hot oil. Discard the oil.

Add water to pan with pork chops, cover tightly, and simmer until tender, about an hour.

You may need to add a little more water half way through cooking if it all boils away.
