Pear Sparkler

Ingredients:

  1. 6 tablespoons - pear nectar
  2. 1 tablespoons - rosemary syrup recipe below
  3. 1/4 cups - to 1/3 cup chilled ginger ale
  4. - sprig fresh rosemary optional
  5. - ice
  6. 1/2 cups - sugar
  7. 1/2 cups - water
  8. 3 sprigs - fresh rosemary

Directions:

For Rosemary Syrup: In a small saucepan combine the sugar, water and fresh rosemary sprigs; bring to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered, about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Cool; strain syrup, and store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

For Pear Sparkler: Fill a tall, narrow glass with ice. In the glass combine pear nectar and rosemary syrup. Slowly add ginger ale; gently stir to combine.

If desired, garnish with rosemary sprig. Serve with a straw.
