Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 4 racks - baby back ribs
- 1/2 cups - soy sauce
- 1/2 cups - Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons - light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoons - cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons - garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons - onion powder
- 2 tablespoons - kosher salt
- 1 tablespoons - dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons - coarse black pepper
- 5 teaspoons - seafood seasoning or cajun seasoning such as Old Bay
- 1 teaspoons - ginger powder
Directions:
For rib rub: with a wooden spoon, blend the brown sugar, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, dry mustard, black pepper, seafood seasoning and ginger powder until mixed.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. To prepare the ribs, remove the silver skin from the back or under rib side. Mix the soy and Worcestershire sauces together. Place each rack of ribs on a separate sheet of aluminum foil on baking sheet; mop on the basting liquid and then sprinkle ribs with rib rub (on both sides). After basting and seasoning, make sure ribs are turned with underside up, then place another sheet of aluminum foil over top and wrap edges of foil together to seal in moisture and seasonings while cooking.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove ribs from oven and unwrap foil. Brush with BBQ sauce and turn ribs over so underside is facing down. Return ribs to oven, foil still open (uncovered), and cook for 15-20 more minutes. Brush with BBQ sauce again, cut, and serve.
