Mom's Ukrainian Borscht

    Traditional Ukrainian beetroot soup with cabbage , beans and beef ribs. Borscht can be vegan, vegetarian or even with rooster.

    1,2 kg beef ribs• 6 potatoes, peeled and cubed • 2 whole bay leaves • 5 Tbsp sunflower oil • 1 fresh red beet, peeled and grated • 1/3 cup of beans (white and red) • 1/2 of a mid sized cabbage ) • 1/2 cup of tomato puree (0r tomato paste) • 1 white onion, peeled and chopped • 1 carrot, grated • Dill • Salt • Garlic
