Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 pounds - butter at room temperature
- 1 pounds - margarine at room temperature
- 1 1/2 tablespoons - granulated chicken bouillon (such as Knorr's) OR 4 crushed chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 tablespoons - finely chopped garlic OR 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 cups - white wine Chardonnay is best
Directions:
Place all ingredients except for wine into a large bowl and blend with an electric mixer or beaters. The result will be a texture similar to peanut butter.
Slowly blend in the wine until thoroughly combined.
Place mixture onto Saran Wrap and roll up into a tube shape, sealing well. This freezes well and sections can be cut off for use. When ready to use, cut off a section (smaller pieces microwave easiest) and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 15-20 seconds at a time until you start to see it froth (about 1-2 minutes). Stop and serve (don't cook too long as the butter will start to separate).
QUICK VERSION:
For a quick version of this sauce for one meal, place 1/4 cup each butter and margarine in a small microwave-safe bowl. Crumble one chicken bouillon cube over top, sprinkle with garlic powder, and add 2 tablespoons of white wine. Microwave until melted and starting to froth a little. Enjoy!
