Lone Star Beer Venison Chili

Ingredients:

  1. 3 pounds - to 4 lbs ground venison
  2. 1 - white onion chopped
  3. 1 - green bell pepper chopped
  4. 1 cloves - garlic chopped
  5. 2 - jalapeno peppers sliced
  6. 1 cans - Rotel tomatoes
  7. 1 cans - tomato paste (small can)
  8. 1/3 cups - brown sugar
  9. 4 tablespoons - Heinz 57 Sauce
  10. 1 tablespoons - olive oil
  11. 1 tablespoons - ground cumin
  12. 1 teaspoons - salt
  13. 1 teaspoons - freshly ground black pepper
  14. 1 - Lone Star Beer (if desired, add another 1/2 beer halfway through cooking time)
  15. - chili powder to taste (you can always start with a little and add more during the cooking process)
  16. - diced onion, shredded cheese, cilantro, Fritos, saltine crackers optional, for serving with

Directions:

Brown venison in a skillet. Mix all ingredients together in a large crockpot.

Cook on Low heat setting for 6 to 8 hours.

Serve with diced onion, shredded cheese, cilantro, and Fritos or Saltine crackers.
