Ingredients:
- 3 pounds - to 4 lbs ground venison
- 1 - white onion chopped
- 1 - green bell pepper chopped
- 1 cloves - garlic chopped
- 2 - jalapeno peppers sliced
- 1 cans - Rotel tomatoes
- 1 cans - tomato paste (small can)
- 1/3 cups - brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons - Heinz 57 Sauce
- 1 tablespoons - olive oil
- 1 tablespoons - ground cumin
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - freshly ground black pepper
- 1 - Lone Star Beer (if desired, add another 1/2 beer halfway through cooking time)
- - chili powder to taste (you can always start with a little and add more during the cooking process)
- - diced onion, shredded cheese, cilantro, Fritos, saltine crackers optional, for serving with
Directions:
Brown venison in a skillet. Mix all ingredients together in a large crockpot.
Cook on Low heat setting for 6 to 8 hours.
Serve with diced onion, shredded cheese, cilantro, and Fritos or Saltine crackers.
