Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups - lukewarm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons - fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons - powdered milk (I omit)
- 1 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- 2 tablespoons - sugar (often use 1T)
- 2 tablespoons - margarine/butter (I use oil)
- 3 cups - white flour
- 1/2 teaspoons - nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons - lemon rind freshly grated
- 2 tablespoons - poppy seeds (I use 1 T)
- 2 teaspoons - yeast
Directions:
Measure in order into baking pan. Select desired crust.
I don’t make it in the breadmaker. I use the dough setting, form the dough and brushed with egg, and bake in 350 oven.
